As the year draws to a close, we want to say a big thank you to everyone who has visited, participated, volunteered, and supported Grey Lynn Community Centre throughout 2025. It’s been a busy and rewarding year, and we’re grateful to be part of such a vibrant community.
Below is some important information about our end-of-year closure and holiday services.
Centre Office Closure
The GLCC office will close on Friday 19 December.
We’ll be back and ready to welcome you in the new year on Monday 5 January 2026.
During this time, centre phones will be diverted to voicemail.
Bookings can still be made online via SpacetoCo

Playgroup Update
Our last Playgroup for 2025 will be held on Friday 19 December
Playgroup will restart on Monday 5 January 2026, operating for under-5s only
We look forward to seeing our youngest community members back in the new year!
Recycling Services Pause
To give our hardworking team a well-earned break, the following services will not be available from Monday 22 December to Monday 5 January:
Soft plastics recycling
Mobile phone recycling
Battery recycling
