Important Update: Changes to Our Senior Yoga Programme

We’re excited to share some fresh updates to the Senior Yoga programme at Grey Lynn Community Centre (GLCC), designed to improve your experience and extend the opportunities to stay active and connected throughout the year.

A New Home for Yoga: Moving to the Garden Room

Starting Friday, 13 June, our Senior Yoga sessions will be held in the Garden Room — a warm, peaceful space that offers a more tranquil setting for your practice.

The final session in the Main Hall will be on Wednesday, 11 June, so please mark your calendars!

New Weekly Schedule

Alongside the venue change, we're also updating our weekly schedule. From 13 June, Senior Yoga will run on:

  • Mondays and Fridays

  • 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (no change to the time)

This change replaces the current Wednesday sessions with Monday ones, while keeping the popular Friday slot.

Year-Round Yoga — Even During School Holidays!

In even better news, we’re transitioning the Senior Yoga programme to run year-round, with the exception of our Christmas closure period.

This means we’ll now offer sessions during school holidays, giving you more consistency and more chances to stay engaged and active, no matter the time of year!

Public Holiday Breaks & Staying Informed

As always, we’ll pause classes on Public Holidays. For the most accurate schedule updates, be sure to check:
