Have an old phone lying around?
Regardless of whether it is in perfect working order, the screen’s broken or it doesn’t even turn on – RE:MOBILE wants your old mobile phone!
For every phone recycled with RE:MOBILE money is donated to Sustainable Coastlines, a multi award winning New Zealand charity working hard to look after the waterways and coastlines we love.
Recycling with us is free, easy and good for the environment.
Before you donate your mobile phone
There are four steps which we encourage you to do before you donate your mobile phone.
If the phone still turns on, disconnect it from any cloud service and complete a factory reset to erase any data from the phone.
Remove your sim card from the phone and keep it.
Leave the battery in the phone.
Switch the phone off.
Now your phone is ready to be donated to RE:MOBILE. You'll find a collection box in the office at GLCC
